The Opening Week Hike is Friday. Then a full week: the modern-Europe map quiz opens History on Tuesday, September 1, and Friday, September 4 is a half day. Labor Day is Monday, September 7, so no school that day. Homework for every class is below, with details on each class page.

History 11

Due Mon, Aug 31: Clari reading annotated (binder pp. 4–8) plus one written discussion question; Francis and Dominic sources read (pp. 10–18).

Tue, Sep 1: map quiz on modern Europe. Practice map is on the History page.

Theology 10

Due Tue, Sep 1: read Matthew 1:18–4:25; annotate 1:18–25 only.

Coming: the Sermon on the Mount reading goes out Tuesday in class.

Literature 11

Due Mon, Aug 31: Cantos II–VI read and annotated, with one discussion question for the whole stretch.

Coming: Cantos VII–VIII for Wednesday, assigned in class Tuesday.

Choir

Nothing assigned. Our first repertoire piece begins next week; practice recordings will appear on the Choir page as pieces are set.
